Clinical Trials

Clinical trials refer to research into the efficacy of new pharmaceuticals or treatment methods and whether the side effects are acceptable. Clinical trials will often give patients access to new pharmaceuticals and new treatments, when the standard treatment options provide limited benefit or no standard treatments exist.

Unger-Vetlesens Insitute serves as the hospitals clinical trials unit and will support and coordinate clinical trials at the hospital.

Inven2 are responsible for managing the agreement and financial aspects of the hospitals clinical trials and industry cooperation that is funded by the industry.
