The Psychatric Genetic Epidemiology (PaGE) group at Lovisenberg hospital, led by Alexandra Havdahl and Laurie Hannigan, is an interdisciplinary team of researchers using genetic epidemiological methods to find out about the early life origins, developmental course, and lifelong outcomes of neurodevelopmental and psychiatric conditions. Within the group, we emphasise transparent and reproducible research practices, user engagement, and prioritise work that triangulates evidence from different sources and methodologies in order to make robust and meaningful contributions to both the research literature and – ultimately – patients, their families, and society at large.
