QuaLit

Quality of Life and Health Literacy Research

The aim of QuaLit is to investigate and promote health literacy competence in patients and healthcare workers with a specific focus on improving quality of life and symptom management. This includes integrating knowledge about health literacy into specialist and primary healthcare practices and empowers patients to optimize their use of healthcare services, better manage their symptoms, and improve their quality of life.

The QuaLit's research improves healthcare outcomes and sustainability by enhancing health literacy and digital competence, symptom management and quality of life in patients through innovative and tailored health services based on their needs. Tailoring services to individual needs leads to more effective use of healthcare, better self-care, and enhanced well-being. This approach promotes patient-centred care, informed decision-making, and contributes to the long-term sustainability and effectiveness of healthcare systems.
